Trip Ticket Deals

We live in a mobile home park and our land rent is now too high for us to pay. We can’t afford to live here anymore and are working with the mortgage company so we can move out of here with as little backlash as possible. However we have no savings and cannot afford a deposit on an apartment along with the first month’s rent. At the beginning of the year we booked a family vacation to San Diego and we did buy travel insurance, but they are telling us there is no guarantee that our claim will go through.
At this point it’s either we go on the vacation and lose the house and have no place for us and our children to live, or we find some way to cancel this trip so we have an apartment to move into. Does anyone know what I can do to make the travel insurance company work with us? I don’t want my family to be homeless, please any advice is welcome. I need help bad!
No I don’t want someone to give me money. I want to cancel this trip that I realize now, shouldn’t have been planned in the first place. The money we spent on this trip could easily take care of the deposit and first month’s rent, which is what we would need to move into the apartment we looked at. I’m not looking for charity. How dare you. I’m looking to undo this mistake and get the insurance company to understand our circumstances.
